Merry Christmas

Guruji on Christmas :

You are the Christmas tree. The Christmas tree is pointing upwards and its branches grow on all sides. It is orderly. At the time of year when no tree bears anything, it has many gifts to offer. And it is green throughout the year. A Christmas tree bears the gifts and the lights not for itself. All the gifts you are carrying in your life are for others. Anyone who comes to you, you offer them your gifts.

There were lots of gifts around Sri Sri’s couch. John asked Sri Sri, “Are you going to open the gifts?” Sri Sri winked and pointed at the people and said, “I am always opening the gifts.” (Laughter)

Your life is a gift. And you have come to unwrap the gift. In the process of unwrapping, you also save the wrappers. Your whole environment, situations, circumstances and body are the wrapping papers. When we unwrap, we destroy the wrapping paper. We are in such a hurry at times that we even destroy the gifts. With patience and endurance, open your gifts and save the wrapping papers.

When I was a kid, I heard a story about Santa Claus that I would like to share with all my Blog readers. Many years ago, in the North Pole, few Polar Bears used to live. ne day, they were passing by a place where they heard a human child crying. They picked Him up. It was a baby boy. They named him ‘ Santa Claus’. The child grew up and used to live in a village. He used to note that the people in the village were not so wealthy, and their children used to cry for toys. So he decided to set a toy factory at North Pole, where He manufactures the toys for the children of entire world and distribute them on Christmas Eve to bring smile on their faces.When I heard this, I was really fantasized with this part of the story and used to hang a new pair of socks at Christmas eve, for Santa to drop by the gifts I wished for! I think every kid do that! Sweet Story or maybe Sweet Fact! Hmmm, Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas!

I attended the Mahasatsang with Pujya Guruji. It was a pleasure being with Him again. On 22nd November, I went to Janata Maidan at 5:00 PM.It was fully packed with the AOL people. Sachin Limaye ji’s Bhajan CD was being played.  The entire atmosphere was spiritual and full of fun. The cool weather and the beautiful dusk was decorating the event.

I was waiting and also talking with few volunteers.Then at 6:45 PM,Guruji’s car came inside the gate. I was standing near the Gate. His car’s glasspane was open, and the car slowed down before me, I said “Jai Gurudva”, He looked at me and smiled. He went to the stage. Thanks to Manu Bhaiya, he gave me the pass to enter! Guruji came near me, I sprinkled the flowers and petals on the stage. He came and stood before me.
I gave Him flowers and garland, He took them and smiled at me I was shouting “Guruji”, and I was very excited. All the volunteers said that,” It was a beautiful Darshan “. Then I went and sat on the chair where all people were sitting. The environment was drowned into beautiful Bhajans. They were playing “Hara Hara Bhole Shankara, Nataraja Shubhkara, Shashi Shekharatripur Hara OM”,”Om Namah Shivaya”. Guruji was also singing and we all were also singing! I called at home and Mosi, Mummy were listening to this on phone.It was very exciting . Then He started speaking. He said that this year, Art Of Living has completed its 30th year. And He came to Bhubaneswar 31 years ago, just one year before the Foundation of the ‘Art Of Living’,organisation. He stayed at a place between Puri and Bhubaneswar. He used to be in silence the entire day, and meet people during the evening. He said, He was offered the Post of “Shankaracharya of Puri”. But He had to do something else and perhaps that was the time, He was actually feeling the commencement of ‘Subdarshan Kriya’ inside Him.
He said that ‘Sudarshan Kriya’ has spread all over the world including Columbia, Argentina and many other countries! Though there was a volunteer meeting with Pujya Gurudeva on 23rd Nov too, but my Exams were there so I was not able to go! I hope next time I will be there 24 x 7 with Guruji on His next visit .

Then it was time for me to rush to Hostel as I had to return before 8:01 PM. I bought some divine products from Divine Shop. Manu Bhaiya gifted me Guruji’s Photo . It was spiritual and outstanding experience. All glory to Pujya Gurudeva

P.S.:Thanks to my Mosi and Mummy as they arranged everything for me. Thanks to Manu Bhaiya who helped me during satsang. Thanks to my warden who allowed me to attend the satsang.

Ouchy - Ouch!

Sometimes if you don’t pay attention while walking or climbing the stairs you may be in problem; Something that happened with me; I was walking pleasently not noting the stairs before the hostel and then…..! I got my knee bruised on the road. I had sprain in my heels and end up having bleeding knees; I was shocked and could not move for a couple of minutes; I was afraid if it is a fracture. The watchman and a good person nearby helped me to stand on my own legs and by Guruji’s Blessings it was not a fracture! — a great sigh of relief! The pain was there and is still there and the wound is pretty much large;The bleeding was not being stopped and I cleaned the wound with Savlon liquid and borrowed antiseptic cream from my roommate and also had a ban-aid which I removed after a while because it was not able to cover the entire wound and guess what,  it actually made it worse! I was in pain and afraid to tell about this at home and somehow I called Mosi and Mummy and told them. The reaction was as expected — Bauwa, walk carefully near the stairs, please take care and a lots of advices! (sweet ) .I managed to do my second half classes. I was having problem while walking because there was also stretch in the muscles.
The Hostel Mams are very nice, and took my care  and when I was a bit comfortable she said ,” I was behaving like a child”   ; She adviced a tetnus injection but few girls said there is no need of that as I was not in the contact with any metal;
So I was saved from an injection (Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhh! — I don’t like injections!)
But I think what happened was just the glimpse of what could have happened.
Guruji always says, ” The bad time never comes to the people who do satsangs”.
If there is something bad written in your destiny then it is going to happen, but the people who do seva,sadhna and satsang (charity), for them it comes and goes like a wave, like if it is written in any person’s destiny that an arrow is to hit and peneterate his head, the arrow will come, reach near the head but it will go and take the hat of the person away without harming that person. So something big was there that was actually mitigated to this small event by God and Guruji .
Perhaps some fruit juice and rest will help in healing the wound soon!
